-  Participation is totally optional - you don't have to bring a gift.
-  You can participate individually or as a couple, i.e., one gift per person or one gift per couple.
-  If you are getting in on the action, please bring a *wrapped* (or bagged) gift, so others can't tell what's inside.
-  The minimum gift value is $40 - as a single item or bundle - and there is no max... GO BIG OR GO HOME!
-  This will be a white elephant style exchange.  Here's the rules:
-  Players draw numbers to determine their turn/order and, starting with the first person, open a gift.
-  The person who draws #1 also gets the final pick.
-  Each subsequent person can either choose a new wrapped gift or steal an already-opened gift.
-  If your gift is stolen, you choose a new one or steal from someone else.
-  There must be one 'transaction' before you can re-steal a gift. Once you obtain the same gift 3 times, it's yours to keep - it can no longer be stolen.
-  The game continues until all gifts are opened. The person who draws #1 also gets the final pick - they go first and last.
