A Life to Celebrate: Glenn Stone
A message from Glenn's partner Julie Trainer and his brother Randy Stone:
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our site created to honor and celebrate the life of Glenn Stone—a son, loving brother, devoted partner, fun uncle, extraordinary friend, valued teammate, cat parent, computer engineer, and joyful explorer. Glenn filled every day with curiosity, creativity, and connection, building a world around family, friends, and the activities he loved.
Glenn passed away suddenly after one of his cherished ocean swims at Longport Beach, NJ, on August 8, 2025. While his departure was unexpected and heartbreaking, it came amid one of his favorite rituals—embracing the ocean he so loved.
Though we miss him deeply, we take comfort in knowing that Glenn’s life was rich, vibrant, and full of meaning. His kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit continue to inspire everyone who knew him.

The Glenn Stone Memorial Fund at Cranaleith
Alongside his brother Randy and close friend Fred Trainer, Glenn lovingly cared for the pond at Cranaleith, tending to its natural beauty and honoring the sacred reciprocity between earth and humanity. To celebrate that devotion, we have created The Glenn Stone Memorial Fund, which will help preserve Cranaleith’s grounds and support the wildlife he cherished.
Cranaleith will also be the final resting place for Glenn’s ashes, ensuring that the serenity he nurtured there will remain a place of reflection and peace for all.
